Middle East Zinc Industries Development Co. was established in 1998 under the name "Bullion on Newborns" with a capacity of 3360 tons to produce zinc ingots. It was then renamed the company "Development of Industries on the Middle East" in 2007. Middle East Industrial Development Company intends to pursue the following goals while producing quality and continuous products:
1) Increase the capacity and quality of production to maintain and increase market share
2) Serious attention to green industry alongside comprehensive development
3) Planning to increase efficiency to maintain national capital
4) Serious presence and participation of personnel in technical and general production issues
5) Serious attention to engagement with government agencies to promote sustainable employment and economic prosperity in the region
6) Long-term staff training
7) Targeting the maintenance and development of foreign markets with a view to securing domestic markets and exporting the product
8) Employment Creation with Priority of Employment of Native Forces.
